Giving Tuesday 2026

Giving Tuesday: Make your Giving Matter for Generations!

After Thanksgiving comes Black Friday and Cyber Monday—two days that encourage us to spend. But what if we set aside a day to give instead?

That was the simple idea behind GivingTuesday, launched in 2012 by New York’s 92nd Street Y: to inspire people to do good in response to the consumerism of the holiday shopping season. What began as one day of generosity has grown into a worldwide movement.

Of course, we don’t need a special day to give. But sometimes we need a reminder to look beyond ourselves and consider what we can do for others.

Give 12/1. Make a Difference for Generations.

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to support the Restore Sanctuary@SACC Campaign.

Our 130-year-old church building is home to seven refugee and immigrant congregations. It is a place where people from many nations worship Christ together, build relationships across cultures, and find a welcoming community. Yet our roof, masonry, and four iconic spires need significant restoration.

We have received a remarkable $222,500 matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places. Your generosity will help us meet this opportunity and preserve this sanctuary for generations to come.

Your gift will be doubled thanks to a matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places

Whether this is your first gift to Sanctuary@SACC or you have supported us for years, every contribution matters. No gift is too small to be part of something bigger.

Imagine a gift made today helping ensure that, years from now, a refugee family will still find a place to worship, a congregation will still have a spiritual home, and our neighbors will still encounter the welcome of Christ.

That is the power of giving beyond ourselves.

Will you join us this Giving Tuesday?

Give what you can. Help us preserve a place of worship, refuge, and hope—not just for today, but for generations to come.
